Fallie is wearing my favorite jim jams
Fallie prefers building to sliding.
They sat like that for over an hour.
BOO! or 8:00
When I bought these jim jams for Fallie, I didn’t see the “BOO!” in the monster’s eyeballs - we are just fond of monsters here. Her obsession with digital time and the words she can make out of the numbers has forever changed time keeping in our household. I know what time it is and the significance behind the numbers when she yells:
- boo (8:00)
- log (1:09)
- goo(9:00)
- bob - (8:08) Mumblelard’s favorite time
- 731 - time to get ready for bed and read upstairs, also relates to her school bus but not how you think
- 1 2 3 4 - she is usually in specials on school days (PE, art, music or computer lab) at this time but obviously a favorite time because the numbers are in sequence
- 11 11 - Fallie’s favorite because all the kids in her class are quietly making a wish
rituals performed to get a snowday*
- flush ice cubes down your toilet
- wear your jim jams inside out
- sleep with a spoon under your pillow
*unfortunately it didn’t work this time but school did begin two hours late today (it’s not fair! says Fallie)
Finn and Fallie watched a movie yesterday after playing outside for over two hours (it was cold for Atlanta!). They didn’t want to disturb the cat and would have stayed there forever. I do like the little Gophie-sized nest in between the girls.
