Fallie is turning eight years old tomorrow. I try to make a game like this every year and this year’s theme is woodland creatures. I am busy making owl cupcakes for her class, an owl-shaped cake for tomorrow night, and a four layer chocolate cake and mini mushroom cupcakes for her party. It should be a fun weekend.
Fallie on the boat
We were in Florida over the weekend and she wanted to go on the boat as badly as her sister did. Finn has always been obsessed with water. Fallie liked swimming a lot during the last couple of years but now SHE is the first one in the water (no matter what the temperature is!). And Fallie was not going to let anyone go out on the boat without her this time!
woodland creatures
I went through some drawers of little toys this weekend, looking for birthday party decorations, and pulled out lots of tiny animals. They were mostly deer, moose and sheep but we also have a hedgehog, black bears, bunnies, mice and a few other wild critters. Fallie saw the goats and sheep and said, “Hey! Those ARE NOT woodland creatures!” I was cracking up.
