Mumblelard and Fallie putting her new bed together
Climbers
Fallie was examining the neighbors’ column and I knew what she was thinking about doing. She is the only kid that got there without help.
The Skull Girls version of ring around the rosy.
Andy with Fallie
She still hates to have her picture taken but I got a few good ones while on vacation in the Smokies. I think Andy will be very pleased with this one.
Tired
Fallie’s couple of hours playing at a friend’s house yesterday turned into a sleepover. She was supposed to come home at 10:30 this morning but called and begged to asked if she could stay until 1:30. At 3:30, I finally had to say no, she needs to come home! She talked for about twenty minutes, ate some fruit, then decided to go look for the cat. This is where I found her a few minutes later. Fallie is the big lump under the tan blanket, in froggy position no less.
Boogie kiss
I tried to document the entire terrarium-making process but most of it took place in the dark basement… Here is Fallie arranging little rocks in the bottom of her jar. I like this picture because I accidentally captured Boogie kissing Finnie.
Terrariums!
This is what we made today. Fallie collected that moss three months ago and we finally put together some little habitats (thanks to some imaginary friends). I also enjoyed the fact that we had everything we needed for this project in our home. Mumblelard has a ginormous glass jar collection, so large that two shelves in the kitchen cabinets is not enough! We have more in the basement and it’s a good thing we do. I forget why we bought a twenty pound bag of pebbles but it was down there too. Potting soil is a common thing to have, and little plastic animals are something I collect.
Lizard catcher
The other kids don’t react quickly enough. They are still yelling in excitement and wondering how to catch a lizard when Fallie stands up, holding the green anole in her hands. She is fearless, fast and always searching for interesting things.
