house centipede
The girls saw this little fellow when they went upstairs to get ready for bed last night. Fallie was super excited (there aren’t many active insects in the winter). She caught him and we will let him go today. House centipedes look creepy but they eat several bugs that most people don’t want inside their homes.
creepy monkey statues
I took this photo on our walk in the woods at night and it really was creepy. I don’t know why there are little monkey statues in the woods (at least six of them, probably more) or why they have bandanas on their heads and faces. Their bodies kind of look like drip castles too.
