The Three Little Owls Lost Their Towels by Fall
This is a book Fallie made for her cousin. She was inspired by the story of the three little kittens who lost their mittens. Apparently she had been thinking about writing a story about three little owls for a while but couldn’t think of what they should loose. We scanned it before she wrapped up her gift because it is awesome.
Hula Hula Macadamia Ice Cream
Since Finn had an unexpected play date with a friend, involving a certain movie that her little sister really wanted to go see, Mumblelard and I did a few things just with Fallie. We went to the craft store and found some cool Halloween temporary tattoos, color-your-own stickers, glow stick bracelets and a set of five little fuzzy teddy bears. And then we went to the grocery store to let Fallie pick out the ice cream flavor. She did a fantastic job and I’m afraid that I might finish it off tonight. It is whipped cream flavored ice cream! With macadamia nut BRITTLE! Somehow they made the brittle stay crunchy in the ice cream and it is now one of my top five favorite ice creams of all time. Also, the packaging cracks me up.
