holiday cookies
So here they all are, including some fudge, all made completely from scratch and without a mixer. The girls helped but not as much as normal. They were busy this year but enjoyed licking the spoons and mixing dough with their fingers. Sometimes I think they like the raw cookie dough more than the finished product… Finn went for the seven layer cookies this year but fudge is still Fallie’s favorite. If you ask her what her favorite food is she will answer “fudge.” If you ask her what her favorite thing to do is she will answer “eating fudge.”

Fallie and I made cookies yesterday while her sister was at play practice. This eight year old is still petite enough to sit on the counter (her entire body, nothing is hanging off!) while making cookie dough.
is it wrong?
It is a teacher work day today and the girl children get a three day weekend! The girls and I made chocolate chip cookie dough this morning after they and Mumblelard had breakfast. Then everybody got to eat two gigantic spoonfuls of raw cookie dough. It was my breakfast and it was delicious.
